Pre-care compliance is important and required to achieve optimum healed results
Permanent makeup procedures can NOT be performed if your are pregnant or nursing. No exceptions.
Please avoid caffeine and alcohol for 12 hours prior to your procedure. The more time you have from consumption to your appointment the better. It is also advised (if your doctor allows it) to avoid multivitamins, vitamin E, fish oil/omegas and aspirin/ibuprofen for 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
No chemical peels 60 days prior to your procedure.
You must be off Accutane for a minimum of one year prior to any permanent cosmetic procedure.
No Sun Tan, increased sun exposure, or tanning prior to your procedure and during the healing process. Sun exposed/tanned skin will affect implanted color negatively. Please keep this is mind and schedule carefully during summer months.
All skin care products containing hydroxy acids and lightening ingredients must be discontinued at least 2 weeks before your procedure. Retinol products MUST be discontinued 3 months before your procedure.
Please purchase a bottle of fragrance free baby wash to cleanse your procedure during the healing process. I will supply your aftercare ointment (Aquaphor)
EYEBROWS
It is always best to let your natural eyebrows grow for two weeks prior to your procedure. Because every eyebrow is designed specifically for you, natural hair growth allows more flexibility while designing a shape that best suits your face and bone structure.
Any waxing or threading should be performed at least 48 hours before the procedure.
EYELINER
Please do not wear contacts to your eyeliner appointment- Bring your glasses!
Please remove any eyelash extensions before your eyeliner procedure. If any eyelash extensions are present at your appointment you will be rescheduled. No exceptions.
Discontinue use of all lash growth serum (Latisse or any brand) for at least one year before your eyeliner procedure.
Please do not wear waterproof eyeliner or false strip lashes for 2 weeks before your eyeliner procedure.
LIPS
Please exfoliate your lips daily gently with your toothbrush for one week before your lip procedure.
If you have any history of cold sores/ fever blisters/ herpes simplex, you will be required to contact your physician to obtain the proper prescription to prevent such outbreaks (1dose @ 1500 milligram day of procedure or as your DR recommends). The lip procedures will activate the virus and spread through the worked lip area. Medication is only a preventative and not a guarantee of an outbreak, so make sure you speak with your doctor.
